Early life: Sung-bin grew up in the coastal town of Namhae, South Korea. He moved to Seoul in middle school and later attended Korea National Sports University
Professional background
Sung-bin picked up Skeleton racing as a sport in 2012 at the age of 18
He won the National Championship in Sept 2012 (after three-month training!) and won his first world gold medal in 2016
He won the gold medal at the 2018 Olympics. He is the first South Korean to win Olympic gold in a non-ice skating event
